Does Kohl’s Allow Afterpay?

The short answer is No, Kohl’s does not take Afterpay. This is unfortunate and may be disappointing for some customers, but it is what it is. Kohl’s is not accepting Afterpay as a payment method as of right now. We visited Kohl’s website and researched their payment methods to verify the information on October 8, 2022. 

This can be worrisome if you cannot afford to pay out of pocket at the moment. However, you can get Kohl’s coupons and promo codes to get a discount on your final price.

Also, Kohl’s is not the only one, there are many other stores that haven’t accepted Afterpay yet. But it doesn’t end here because you can use other payment methods like Afterpay.

Best Alternatives to Afterpay

The best alternative to Afterpay which you can use at Kohl’s is Zip (previously Quadpay). The platform offers a similar financing policy and allows you to divide payments into 4 installments. You can pay in 6 weeks but will have to 25% upfront. But the best part is that, unlike Afterpay, you can use Zip to make payments in-store as well.

Another great alternative to Afterpay is Klarna, but it has some downsides.

The Klarna App allows you to buy products from Kohl’s. However, you have to use their app to find the products. You can pay through Klarna in 4 installments every two weeks. However, the platform charges customers late fees which can hurt your credit rating as well.

Does Kohl’s Take PayPal?

Yes, Kohl’s does accept PayPal as a payment option and you can use it to make purchases. However, the store has made some policy changes since 2021. You can use PayPal to buy products from their website. But Kohl’s does not allow customers to pay through PayPal when they are shopping physically in stores.

You can select PayPal as the payment method on the website at the checkout page.

Upon selecting PayPal on Kohl’s website, you’ll be redirected to PayPal’s website. There you can create a new account, add details, or make changes. You’ll be redirected to Kohl’s website once the payment has been processed. After that, you can confirm your order and pay for selected products using PayPal.

In case you want to use PayPal to shop at Kohl’s retail stores, you’ve to work around it. There are two ways to utilize PayPal for buying in-store at Kohl’s

If you are looking for payment options, there are many other ways to pay at kohl’s. You can easily buy products in-store and online using conventional methods and digital payment methods.

Kohl’s allows its customers to make purchases through cash, personal checks, and money orders. You can also use major debit cards and credit cards including American Express, Visa, MasterCard, and Discover. We have already mentioned that PayPal can only be used to buy products online from Kohl’s.

You can also use Apple Pay while shopping online and at Kohl’s retail stores. But bear in mind that you have to add a Kohl’s Card to your Apple Wallet. However, this is a tricky process and only primary or secondary users can add it.

Other payment options include Kohl’s gift cards and e-gift cards. Customers can also pay by phone at Kohl’s by calling 855-564-5705. The store has an automated system in place which enables you to pay by phone 24 hours a day. But keep in mind that if you are paying after 7 p.m. CT (Central Time) it’ll be posted the next day.
